Left Enjoyment vs right enjoyment

A democrat will legislate for affirmative action or progressive laws. They will feel justified when those laws do pass. The left enjoys progressive politics in new diversity quotas, inclusive hiring practices, and more reproductive rights for women. The left also enjoys politics indirectly by watching what it took away from Republicans. Likewise, a Republican who want to conserve traditional policies will enjoy laws that legislate for a return of prayers to schools or setting up stricter boarders policies or give greater tax breaks to firms. Their enjoyment will also come from what it takes away from the Democrats. For Republicans, it’s the loss of progress that forms “right enjoyment” and for Democrats, it’s leaving behind tradition that forms “left enjoyment.” This is where insults or offending seems most invalid compared to the real problems of family conflicts or toxic workplaces. This is because the debates or arguments most common are sourced from Ad Homenim attacks. Having to resort to Ad Homenin attacks gives the user a desperate look.

Let us suppose that the market (austerity) is the real arbiter of power. Then, insults are really just formalized risk assessment measures. For example, Let’s imagine conservative manager talking down to a young radical calling him “lazy” or telling him to “do your job!” With the condensation, the manager gives him a lesson. Let’s say that the young radical becomes angry but can’t talk back because it’s his manager. Given enough time, this young radical will mature and grow up to become a manager himself. He will then utter those same words to another young man that at one point made him fume at the ears. One may conclude that it’s the price one has to pay to learn life’s lessons. But who really pays the price for that moral lesson? It’s the young radical who is positioned (posited) to the correct position. It’s he, the young man, who ultimately allows the auto-correction to take place (he can also reciprocate the verbal violence but then it would be consequences that will do the correcting). The conservative manager, in correcting the behavior of the young man, who losses because he gives the young man the possibility to “beat” him by out-witting the manager at a future time.
